This is the big one.

Joking, teasing, sarcasm, swearing, and friendly trash talk are all part of gaming. Personal attacks, targeted harassment, bullying, threats, or deliberately trying to make someone uncomfortable are not.

If someone tells you to knock something off, knock it off.

When participating in TDG parties, events, hunts, cooking parties, home tours, competitions, or general group play:

• Follow the rules of the event.
• Don't intentionally sabotage other players.
• Don't steal assigned roles, ingredients, resources, or spots during organized events.
• Don't use exploits, mods, overlays, or outside programs when an event specifically prohibits them.
• Don't cheat in competitions.
• Respect the host and event organizers.
• If something goes wrong, give people a chance to fix it before turning it into drama.
• Remember that newer players may not know everything yet. Help them instead of making them feel stupid.

Friendly competition is encouraged.

Being a sore winner or a sore loser is considerably less entertaining.

When you're participating in a TDG stream, remember that what you say or do may be seen or heard by an audience.

Please:

• Don't intentionally reveal another person's private information.
• Don't bring personal arguments into stream chat.
• Don't spam, excessively self-promote, or repeatedly ask for follows, subs, raids, gifts, or shoutouts.
• Don't spoil games unless the streamer says spoilers are okay.
• Don't backseat game unless the streamer has asked for help.
• Respect moderators when they ask you to stop something.
• Don't intentionally say or do things designed to get someone else's Twitch account in trouble.
• If you're in voice chat while someone is streaming, assume you may be live.

If you aren't sure whether the stream can hear you, behave like it can.

Discord is where most of our community hangs out, so help us keep it somewhere people actually want to be.

• Use channels for their intended purpose when possible.
• Don't spam messages, tags, images, reactions, or DMs.
• Don't repeatedly @ members who aren't responding.
• Keep serious personal arguments out of public channels.
• Don't drag drama from another server, stream, or community into TDG.
• Don't advertise another Discord, stream, business, fundraiser, or community without permission where required.
• Don't impersonate staff, moderators, streamers, or other members.
• Respect moderator decisions even if you disagree with them. You can discuss the issue privately afterward.

TDG is primarily an adult gaming community, so conversations can get weird, dark, sarcastic, and occasionally inappropriate.

That does not give anyone permission to harass people or repeatedly push conversations into sexual, graphic, hateful, or uncomfortable territory.

Know your audience.

We don't require everyone here to think the same way, believe the same things, or have the same sense of humor.

We do require members to treat each other like human beings.

Content or behavior whose purpose is to seriously attack, degrade, threaten, or harass someone because of who they are isn't welcome here.

Disagreement is fine.

Targeting someone is not.
